It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles E. Davis of Virginia, Illinois, born in Waterville, Maine, who passed away on September 17, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Gladys Barlow; his aunt Elsie Brown; and his half-sister May Peavey. He is survived by: his wife Maureen; his daughter Pam Smith (Tim); his granddaughters, Emma and Megan; and his sisters-in-law, Lorna Hills and Sherry Strauss. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews and his great nieces and nephews.
