With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brenda Crum of Virginia, Illinois, who passed away on January 10, 2021 at the age of 64. She was predeceased by: her father Peter Cartwright; and her spouse Reuel L. Crum. She is survived by: her mother Margaret Miller Skiles of Virginia; her children, Amber R. Henson (Patrick, Jr.) of Virginia and Brandon G. Crum (Keri Lyons) of Virginia; her grandchildren, Alexis, Tanner, Jersey and Piper; her great grandchildren, Letty and Jaxtyn; and her siblings, Bruce G. Skiles and Barbie Eck (Fred) of Virginia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Understanding that the number of people in the church will be limited due to the pandemic, a walk-through visitation will be held for family and friends from 1-2 p. m. Monday, Jan. 18, 2021, at New Life Church in Virginia, followed by a private family service. The family would invite anyone who would like to go to the graveside in Walnut Ridge Cemetery to do so after the private service concludes at approximately 2:30 p. m. Masks and social distancing are required.
