With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Hays of Virginia, Illinois, born in Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on June 28, 2020 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Hays to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis "Frank" and Edith Taylor Fox; her daughter Edith McCollister; and her sister Eleanor Devlin. She is survived by: her children, Alan Hays (Jennifer) of East Peoria, Nancy Hall (James) of Springfield and Margaret Germain (Ed) of The Villages, Florida; and her brother Merle Fox (Mary) of Jacksonville. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren.

Due to the pandemic, a private family service will be held with burial at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Virginia.
