She is survived by: her children, Harold Root of Timewell, Joseph Root of Virginia and Elizabeth Bast of Virginia; her grandchildren, Michelle Root, Joseph Lee Root, Melissa Root, Charles Hudson and Amanda Hudson; and her brothers, Samuel Miller of Timewell and Nick Miller (Lewain) of Eddyville. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
