She was predeceased by: her parents, William Richards and Mary Ealy Richards; her son Lawrence G Brown; and her siblings, Floyd (Ella), Clarence (Harriet), George (Grace), Edward (Alice), Ralph (Sally Jo), Henry (Marjorie), Paul (Elma Mae), Gladys Baker (Jesse), Lucille Davis, Elizabeth Miller (James), Marjorie Herr (Charles) and Helen Cory (Simon).
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Thompson (Jerome "Jay"); her grandchildren, Robert Thompson (Lisa), Melissa Thompson and Christina Durbin (Jason); her great grandchildren, Wesley Thompson and Cali Durbin; and her close friends, Michael Kepler, Erica Hiemstra (Tom) and Cassidy Flanagan (Will). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church.
