“you were my hero grandpa and in thankful and cherish all of our memories. I remember a lifetime ago getting in the old blue ford that was the biggest truck in the universe and your wwII stories made me feel you single handed won the war.i never understood some of the thing you were teaching me as a child but I finally understand. I'm more than thankful for everything you ever did for my kids and myself. you were a selfless man I and put your own life on the back burner for the ones you loved. you also played the biggest roll in the man I am today you taught me more than most people even know the two biggest were integrity being number two but number one is you believed in me that's means the world to be. miss you so much and just kissed you goodbye yesterday. may the road rise up to meet you. may the wind always be at your back and the sunshine warm upon your face and the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may god hold you in the palm of his hand. love always and forever xoxo daniel”
