He is survived by: his children, Steve Kahl (Kendra) of Virden, Deborah Gibbs (Steve) of Denver, CO and Cathy Tomlin (Mark) of Virden; his stepchildren, Patrick Wink (Petra) of Germany, Ray Edwards (Kathy) of Noblesville, IN and Karin Edwards of Berthoud, CO; his grandchildren, Chris Kahl (Jessica), Jeremy Kahl (Dawn), April Tomlin (Tiffany), Shawnelle Murphy (Chris), Zachary Gibbs (Ericka) and Gjemar Gibbs (Veneshia); his siblings, Delbert Kahl (Verna), Robert Kahl, George Kahl, Walter Kahl (Shirley), John Kahl (Peg), James Kahl (Leola), Donald Kahl (Margie), Sue Bryant (Mitch), Wilma Gibson (John), Judy Rosentreter and Edith Reed (Pat); and his pet Dolly. He is also survived by 5 step grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 10 step great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
