It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willa L. Smith-Reischauer (Virden, Illinois), who passed away on May 13, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Estell Walkington and Ailene Walkington (Haines); her former husband Wilbur "Tim" Smith; and her husband Dan Reischauer. She is survived by: her daughters, Jill Jenkins (Don) of Virden and Diane Theodor (Charles) of Chatham; and her grandchildren, Chris Graham of Virden, Tia Schoth (Aaron Smith) of California, Jodi Theodor (Ryan Arthur) of Rantoul, John Theodor of Florissant, MO and Julie Broyhill (Glen) of North Carolina. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested and may be made to Prairieland Ambulance or First Presbyterian Church in Virden and will be received by Airsman & Calvert Funeral Homes, Virden who is honored to be caring for Willa's family.
