With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Thomas Stone of Virden, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Harvey and Mary Helen Turley Stone; his children, Cindy Mae Blake and Jeff Thomas Stone; and his brother Arthur "Art" Stone.
He is survived by: his children, Maryann Richards (Mel) of Auburn, Roger Stone (Noreen) of Oklahoma City, OK and Tina Dory (Rick) of Winfield, KS; and his siblings, Marlene Robinson Wilkin (Scott) of Springfield, Sharon Stone Cook of Clarksville, TN and Gary Stone (Karen) of Cape Coral, FL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Staab Funeral Home - Springfield (1109 S 5th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to a Charity of the Donor's Choice.
