With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sue I. Hesson of Virden, Illinois, born in Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on July 20, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherald Sherman and Linda Sherman (Young). She is survived by: her son Matthew Hesson of Chatham; her grandchildren, Ivy and Loretta Hesson; her stepgrandson Jackson Rentfrow; and her siblings, Dale Sherman (Christina), Nick Sherman (Kimberly) and Michelle Chalifour.
