She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Smith and Fern Smith (Nickel); and her sister Ginger Lou Smith. She is survived by: her children, Freddie L. Johnson, Jr. of Virden and Gwen Holmes of Pekin, IL; her grandchildren, Paden Morgan (Will), Auston Shipley, Ella Johnson and Dolan Johnson; her great grandchildren, Claypso, Layla, Wyatt, Allistair and Allya; and her close friend Carolle Britenstine.
Memorials are suggested and may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project and will be received by Airsman & Calvert Funeral Homes, Virden who is honored to be caring for Sherry's family.
