We are sad to announce that on February 28, 2021, at the age of 72, Rachel L. Cornwell of Virden, Illinois, born in Litchfield, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father James E. Jones; her stepfather George Howarth, Sr.; and her sister Martha Jones. She is survived by: her son James C. Cornwell of Virden; her mother Elena Howarth (Uchtman) of Virden; her siblings, James Jones (Leora) of Irving, William Jones (Lorna) of Hillsboro, Ned Jones (Sonja) of Virden, George Howarth (Melissa) of Virden, Jane Jones of Virden, Alice Hayes (Mike) of Pleasant Plains and Carol Stout of Springfield; and also Ryan Lance of Virden. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials in her honor may be made to the North Mac Ministerial Alliance to assist with Community needs or the American Cancer Society and will be received by Airsman & Calvert Funeral Home which is honored to be caring for Rachel's family.
