He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Huffman and Gloria Huffman (Woodside); his wife Cathy Power; and his siblings, Carl D. Huffman and Nancy Kiel.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Schweitzer (Travis) of Poplar Grove, IL and Joe Huffman (Kate) of Auburn, AJ; and his brothers, Ernest Wayne "Buddy" Huffman, Jr., Melvin L. Huffman, Robert J. Huffman and Harold L. Huffman. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Gillespie Caring Center, 100 S Macoupin St, Gillespie, IL 62033 and will also be received by Airsman & Calvert Funeral Homes, Virden who is honored to be caring for Sonny's family.
