With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marvin O. Wrightsman of Virden, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on January 2, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Okal Wrightsman and Miriam Wrightsman (Brubaker). He is survived by: his wife Helen Ann Rowden; his daughters, Shannon W. Hart (Todd) of Bloomington, IL and Michelle W. Vigor (Joseph) of O'Fallon, MO; his grandchildren, Steven Hart (Jenna), Jennifer Hart (Stephanie Vukotic) of Bloomington, IL, Kirsten Vigor of Lee's Summit, MO and Alex Vigor of O'Fallon, MO; and his brothers, Dwayne Wrightsman (Linda) of Lee, NH and Loy Wrightsman (Cynda) of Springfield, IL. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials are suggested and may be made to Virden Church of the Brethren or Pleasant Hill Cemetery and will be received by Airsman & Calvert Funeral Homes, Virden who is honored to be caring for Marvin's family.
