With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mark E. Tomlin of Virden, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on October 31, 2023 at the age of 67. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mark E. Tomlin to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Isom Tomlin and Hazel Tomlin (Alexander); and his brothers, Eddie, Glenn and Kenny Tomlin.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Kahl; his daughters, April Tomlin (Tiffany) of East Alton and Shawnelle Murphy (Chris) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Tyler Koerner, Corrigan and Delaney Murphy; his stepgrandchildren, Adrianna Stout and Makynna Weiser; and his siblings, Junior, Benny and Mary. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested and may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be received by Airsman & Calvert Funeral Homes, Virden who is honored to be caring for Mark's family.
