He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Mary Mathias, Sr. (Morelock); and his sister Vicki Mathias. He is survived by: his wife Susan Mathias of Virden; his children, Mike Mathias of Virden, Jennifer Mathias of Virden, Heather Mathias of Virden and Lori Rice (Justin) of Rochester; and his grandchildren, Braedon, Peyton and Brylee Rice.
In lieu of flowers, his family asks that memorials be made to Virden American Legion Post #386, Virden Police Department or Prairie Land Ambulance and will be received by Airman & Calvert Funeral Homes, Virden who is honored to be caring for Dr. Frank's family.
