She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Seifert and Ruth Seifert (Sullivan); her former husband Zeldon Cain; her son Michael Cain; and her stepson-in-law Charles Huffman.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Carney; her daughters, Christine VanWinkle (George) of Springfield, Bethany Garner (Bruce) of Springfield and Barbara Whitlow (Mike Haacke) of Chatham; her stepdaughters, Brenda Winter (Dick) of Elajay, GA, Sandra Huffman of Illiopolis and Pamela Martin (Gary) of Alexander; her sister Betty Cox (Robert) of Virden; and her nephew Bill Hays (Nina) of Modesto. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 9 great step-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested and may be made to Prairieland Ambulance and will be accepted by Airsman & Calvert Funeral Homes, Virden who is honored to be caring for Evelyn's family.
