It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Eileen Elston of Virden, Illinois, who passed away on June 24, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Vanhuss and Waneta Vanhuss; her son Scotty; and her siblings, Jake Vanhuss, Charles Vanhuss, Hailey "Sis" Lair, Robert Vanhuss, Tom Vanhuss, Lorene "Midge" Olive and Laurie Henke.
She is survived by: her husband Edward C. Elston II; her children, Edward C. Elston III of Virden, Linda Boesdorfer (Albert) of Atwater, Michael Elston of Virden, Timothy Elston (Lori) of Virden and Waneta Weller (Tim) of Thayer; her grandchildren, Marcie Leonard (John), Jennifer Castleman, Neil Boesdorfer (Danae), Kelsey Armstrong, Carly Weller, Shelby Armstrong, Ruthie Weller, Faith Elston, Joseph Weller and Caleb Elston; her great grandchildren, Brady, Jaxon Castleman, Bella, Collin Etter, Natalie and Samuel Boesdorfer; and her siblings, Helen Rolando (Tommy), Geraldine Singer, James Vanhuss (Mary) and Esther Brewer (Aaron).
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to Prairie Temple Assembly of God Church.
