Barbara J. Shores Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara J. Shores of Virden, Illinois, born in Buckhannon, West Virginia, who passed away on January 28, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie M. Martin and Breatice Martin (Smith); her grandson Brock Scoggins; and her siblings, Robert Glen Martin, Betty Johnson and Mabel Winemiller.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Shores; her children, Robert Douglas Shores of Carlinville, Kelly Wayne and Tina Elizabeth Burtle (John) of Virden; her grandchildren, Andrew Shores, Whitney Waldron, Savannah Shores and Olivia Tredennick (Dylan); her great grandchildren, Kade and Kash Waldron; and her brother James Martin of Plano, IL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested and may be made to the ALS Association and will received by Airsman & Calvert Funeral Homes, Virden who is honored to be caring for Barb's family.
