She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Sr. Krueger and Lucille Thomas Krueger; her husband Curtis Simpkins; and her brother LaVerne. She is survived by: her children, Corrine Buffington (Doug) of Preemption, Illinois and David Brown (Janet) of Prophetstown, Illinois; her grandchildren, Kristy Saathoff (Mark) of Hampton, Evan Brown (Destiney) of Prophetstown, Caitlyn Styx of Rock Island and Chloe Buffington of Preemption, Illinois; her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Ethan, Harper, Ellie and Brylee; her brothers, Carl Krueger (Sharon) of Duluth, GA and Roger Krueger (Maggie) of Andalusia, Illinois; her sister-in-law Dixie Krueger of Longmont, Colorado; and her siblings, Phyllis Attig, Nellie Ziegenhorn, Glen and Richard. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
