He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Caldwell and Lois Kronsted Caldwell; his grandparents, Posey and Myrtle Caldwell; his brothers, David Arnold and Clyde Sundstrom; his half-brother Kent Caldwell; and his great grandchild Kailer McKeag.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Caldwell of Viola, Illinois; his children, Chris McKeag (Tom) of Milan, Curt Caldwell (Alisa) of Omaha and Cheryl Jenkins (Russell) of Viola, Illinois; his grandchildren, Shane, Shawn, Andrea, Alex McKeag, Courtnie Wyant (William), Lexi Caldwell, Kaylee Wallesen (Will) and Landon Caldwell; his great grandchildren, Adalyn, Maddox McKeag, Emmie and Aubrey Wyant; and his half-sisters, Karen Caldwell, Bonnie Wayne, Judith Raymond and Iris Evelhoch.
