It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary R. Adams of Viola, Illinois, who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenny Redpath and Ella David Redpath; her husband Robert Adams of Anthony's Catholic Church; her children, Lynda Bender and Robert Daniel Adams; her grandson Lucas Adams; and her siblings, Marjorie Mapes, Dorothy Anderson, Julie Pitman and Ronald Redpath.
She is survived by: her children, David Adams (Andre Duerinckx) of Cambridge, Stephen Adams of Pevely, Larry Adams (Karen) of Matherville and Beth Ryan (Dave) of Viola; her brother Robert Redpath (Carol) of Matherville; her children-in-law, Terry Bender (Sandy) of Milan, Illinois and Mary S. Adams of Moline, Illinois; and her friends, Paula Ryan, David and Angie Stark. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dennison Funeral Home - Viola (1601 13th St, Viola, IL 61486). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Anthony's Catholic Church (1386 252nd St, Matherville, IL 61263).
Memorial contributions may be left to the Matherville Community Club, Matherville Volunteer Fire Department, or Saint John's Cemetery Fund.
