With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen A. Simpson of Viola, Illinois, who passed away on December 20, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Ugarph and Helga Bertlesen Ugarph; her husband Robert "Bob" Simpson; her great grandchild Stoney June; her stepfather Robert Jones; and her sister-in-law Edythe McKee.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Simpson (Sharon) of Aledo, IL and Sandra Simpson Adams of Davenport, IA; her grandchildren, Matthew Simpson (Cindy) of Aledo, Brian Simpson (Jensenn) of Washington, IL, David Adams of Davenport and Kaitlyn Adams of Davenport; her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Madelyn and Sutton; her sisters, Diane Thompson (Gary) of Quinlan, TX and Gail Vittitow of Cumming, GA; her brother-in-law Richard Simpson (Janet) of Alexis, IL; and her close friend Pat Fugate.
Memorial contributions may be left to the Viola Volunteer Fire Department, Beacon of Hope Hospice, or No Foot Too Small in honor of Stoney June.
