He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Mackey and Alice Perlina Unsworth (McGaughy); his great grandchildren, Evelyn and Oliver; his wife Dorothy (Swank Palmer); his children, Thomas, Priscilla Unsworth of Casa Grande, AZ, William, Diane Unsworth of Viola, Carolyn and Tim Enright of Buffalo Prairie; his stepchildren, Robert of Davenport, Carrie Rind of Davenport, Cynthia Smith of Davenport, Douglas, Alicia Woolam of Rock Island, Jack, Chris Palmer of Milan, Joseph and Kathy Palmer of Davenport; his son-in-law Scott Jones of Colona; and his daughters, Melody Duverney and Alicia Jones. He was also cherished by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
