He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Stephens (Gary), Carol Thurston (Stanley) and Cindy Spaulding (Bill); his grandchildren, Dustin, Blake Thurston, Hilary Crain and Curt Spaulding; his great grandchildren, Cameron, Kobe, Madison Rushing, Caden, Kali, Caleb Crain, Emma, Nolan Thurston, Avery, Nora and Lucas Thurston; his great great grandchild Bradley Rushing; his siblings-in-law, Virginia George, Ruth Wicker (Jerry), Ann Vogel (Don), Pete Zimmer and James Racey (Marion); and his close friend Mary Pitt. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
