She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Heard and Dewey Grant Heard of Virginia; her husband John M. Taylor; her son Jerry; her grandson Jacob Lampo; and her siblings, John Jr., Keller, Dewey, Morris, Benjamin, Ronald Heard and Louise Hartwell-Carr.
She is survived by: her daughter Joan Lampo (Thomas C.) of Elmhurst; her daughter-in-law Pamela Taylor of Lombard; her son Jeffrey J. Taylor (Jean) of Villa Park; her grandchildren, Thomas J., Luke Lampo, Paige, Jessica and John B. Taylor; and her brother-in-law James F. Taylor (late Gloria). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
