She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husbands, Walter J. Shalitis and Rolf Schmidgall; her children, Steven, David Shalitis, Wendy Hanson and Sharon Shalitis; her grandchildren, Brian, David, Crystal, Ryan, Tyler and Michael; her great grandchildren, Alexis and Lily; and her sister Nancy Malecky (late Jim).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Gibbons Funeral Home (134 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
