He is survived by: his wife Karen Mansfield of Minor Hill; his children, Christopher Mansfield of Raleigh, Matthew Valdes of Columbia, Daniel Kane Mansfield of Villa Park, Illinois and Shannon Thompson (Daniel) of Streator, Illinois.; his siblings, Denise Miner (Steve) of Pulaski, TN, Jennifer Uhlich (Jessie) of Illnois and Timothy Smith (Debbie) of Illnois; and also, Joseph and Linda Carroll. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
