She was predeceased by: her son James David Szczelaszczyk Jr.; her parents, Mariam Joseph and Paul Joseph; and her brother Peter Joseph. She is survived by: her husband James Szczelaszczyk; and her brothers, Paul Joseph (Lorraine), Billy Joseph (Buella) and Jimmy Joseph (Julie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Steuerle Chapel (350 Ardmore Ave, Villa Park, IL 60181). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at 2501 E Euclid Ave, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
