It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William V. Grant (Vienna, Illinois), born in Buncombe, Illinois, who passed away on September 29, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulia Vern and Emma Mae Grant (Elam). He is survived by: his wife Marcia Lee Woodcock; his children, Crystal Slayton (Jason) of Oxly, William Vern Grant II of Vienna and Amanda Maelee Grant of Vienna; his grandchildren, Eathan Wayne Brown of Oxly, Missouri and Aubrianna Isabelle "Izzie" Slayton of Oxly, Missouri; his brother John Grant (Angie) of Lick Creek; his nieces, Katie Grant, Tina Grant and Reena Robinett; his close friends, Judy and Bryan Lamb of Poplar Bluff, Missouri.; and his pet Carter.
