He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Owen and Nellie May Jeffords (Parks); his brothers, Les, Ned and Ted (Juanita); and his sister-in-law Rhudell Jeffords.

He is survived by: his wife Alice Hodge; his sons, Charlie Jeffords (Leslee) and William Lee "Jay" Jeffords (Brenda); his grandsons, Seth, Owen and Josh; his nephew Teddy Jeffords (Kathy); and his nieces, Pat Reynolds and Sue Mizell.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
