With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Viola M. Penrod (Vienna, Illinois), born in Union, Illinois, who passed away on December 16, 2020 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Viola M. Penrod to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Earl and Edith Mae Hennesy (Grant); her husband Hal Eugene Penrod; her siblings, Eva Mae Hennesy, Janet Norris, Curtis Hennesy and Jerry Hennesy; and her brother-in-law Leonard Martin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marsha Cook (Rick) of Cypress and Darla Brown (Mark) of Ozark; her grandchildren, Jessica, Kimberly, Andrew and Will; her sister Virginia Martin of Metropolis; and her siblings-in-law, Donnie Norris of Cypress, Sharon Hennesy of Carrier Mills and Donna Hennesy of Jonesboro. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Those attending are reminded to observe customarily accepted social distancing guidelines. The wearing of a face mask or covering is strongly encouraged.
