Shirley Travis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Travis (Vienna, Illinois), who passed away on August 25, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett E. Mathis and Lillie Mathis (Nelson); her brother John Mathis; and her nephew Gary Mathis. She is survived by: her former husband William "Bill" L. Oliver; her husband Robert "Bob" Travis; her sons, David Oliver (Beverly) of Grantsburg and Tim Oliver (Laura) of Vienna; her stepchildren, Bobbie Travis (Debra) of Belknap, David Travis (Marcy) of Belknap, Patty Reeves (Alan) of DuQuoin, Richard Travis (Brenda) of Austin, Perry Travis (Carole) of Metropolis, Jim Travis (Jimmilynn) of Metropolis and John Travis (Kandy) of Belknap; her grandchildren, Selina Brownfield (Chris) of Puyallup, Sarah Morris (Chad) of Simpsonville, Melanie Oliver (Dillon Peebles) of Marion, Joey Parenti (Jennifer) of Marion and Amy Ballard of Vienna; her great grandchildren, Tyler Brownfield of San Clemente, Lillie Duffy of Simpsonville, Lauren Duffy of Simpsonville and Owen Peebles of Marion; and her close friend Barb Konemann. She is also survived by fourteen step-grandchildren; 15 step-great-grandchildren.
It is requested that those attending the service observe customarily accepted social distancing practices. The wearing of a face mask or covering is recommended.
