Maxine Ellet Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Ellet of Vienna, Illinois, born in Murphysboro, Illinois, who passed away on December 25, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Murl "Mike" Reiman and Sarah Pauline Reiman (Young); her husband Jerry L. Ellet; her granddaughter Briana Lee Odum; and her brothers, Fredrick Thomas Reiman and Claude Earnest Reiman.
She is survived by: her children, Wesley Ellet (Jill) of Creal Springs, Joanna Odum (Mark) of Hanson and Lisa Fisk (Kevin) of Cordova, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Matt Ellet (Liz) of Simpson, James Ellet (Jenna) of Marion, Aimee Odum (Alex Mansir), Aaron Odum (Gabrielle) of Madisonville and Ella Fisk of Cordova, Tennessee; her great grandchildren, Gavin Scott Lewis, Tamera Ellen Ellet, Renley Rae Odum, River Anne Ellet, Ellie James Odum, Kerrigan Jo Ellet and Piper Jillian Ellet; and her sisters, Margie Ann Roman of Blacklick, Mary Jane Huseman of Campbell Hill and Marilyn Jean Stegmann of Steeleville, Illinois. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, her extended family and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (301 N 7th St, Vienna, IL 62995). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Walker Hill Cemetery.
