It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Lou Avery of Vienna, Illinois, who passed away on May 15, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. Elliott and Alice Marie Elliott (Jenkins); her husband Jim Avery; her children, Jimmy Ray Avery and Sheryl Jean Jones; and her brothers, Bill Elliott and Don Elliott.
She is survived by: her daughters, Becky Lynn Groves (Mitch) of Newburgh, Cindy Ann Studer (Ron) of Vienna and Lisa Michelle Overton of Vienna; her grandchildren, Matthew Groves (Sarah), Jamie Jones (Mikhala), Krista Staple, Melissa Lilja (Dustin), Brandon Studer, Kayla Dotson (Caleb), Chelsea Studer and Derick Overton (Alana); her great grandchildren, Jaylie Staple, Kaileigh Luttrell, Talon Lilja, Elliott Groves, Genevieve Groves, Arlington Jones and Finnly Lilja; her son-in-law Jimmy Jones; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Elliott, Rosie Hand (J. W.) and Richard Avery (Hannah). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Those attending the visitation and service are reminded to observe customarily accepted social distancing guidelines. The wearing of a face mask or covering is strongly encouraged.
