It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn L. Carter (Vienna, Illinois), born in Brookport, Illinois, who passed away on July 3, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Mathis and Freeda Mathis (Henson); her stepfather Autie Henry; her sister Louise; her brother-in-law Bill Brown; and her nephew John Brown.

She is survived by: her husband Bobby Carter; her son Tony Carter of Vienna; her granddaughters, Sarah Smith and Emily Hargis; and her great grandchildren, Skyler Carter, Brentley Smith, Kaden Hall and Tinsley Hargis.
