He was predeceased by: his parents, Normal Powell and Caroline Powell (Simmons); his brothers, Duane Powell and Howard Ray; and his siblings-in-law, Myra Powell, Louise and Don Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Janet Taylor; his daughters, Lynn Beasley (Randy Spurlock) of Vienna and Jana Cullers (Bruce) of Carrier Mills, Illinois; his grandchildren, Chris Beasley (Brandi), Rhiannon Slife (Matt), Gabe Cullers (Autum), Daniel Cullers (Elaina) and Josh Cullers (Jerica); and his great grandchildren, Shelby Beasley, Riley, Laney Slife, Brianna, Ben Cullers, Marissa, Lydia Cullers, Everett, Scout Cullers, Mason and Cooper Howton.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home (705 N 1st St, Vienna, IL 62995). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Wise-Robinson Cemetery.
