We are sad to announce that on September 4, 2021, at the age of 99, Lona Hodge Brooks (Vienna, Illinois), born in Tunnel Hill, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Johnson and Esta Johnson (Boner); her former husband Kenneth Lee Hodge; her husband James Brooks; and her siblings, Wilburn Johnson, Verna Johnson, Hazel Vinson, Pauline Webb, Earl Johnson, Mary Lowery, Kenneth Johnson, Billy Gene Johnson, Wanda Thurman, Lawrence Johnson, Judith Cash and Gertrude Gould.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Hodge, George Hodge (Cindy), Donna Blue (Sam), Barbara Belcher and Patricia Hort (Doug); and her children-in-law, Gene Belcher and Charlene Hodge. She is also survived by Numerous grandsons and granddaughters, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
