He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Edward Baker and Gladys Fern Baker (Whiteside); his brother James Howard Baker; his daughter Barbara Rose; his sister Gertrude Becker; his daughter-in-law Mary Snyder Dixon; and his brothers-in-law, Johnny Whiteside, Charles Bench, Ben Burnett and Charles "Ed" Chitwood.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Ferguson (Gayron, Jr.) of Paducah, Pam Franklin (Paul "Ed") of Paducah and Edward Andrew Baker Dixon of Murray, Kentucky; his son-in-law Steve Rose of Ullin, Illinois; his sisters, Helen Burnett of Vienna, Louise McGill (W. J.) of Simpson, Margaret Cameron (Carl) of Vienna and Sue Bench of Vienna, Illinois; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Becker of Springfield, Jerry Whiteside (Katrena) of Gary, Robert Allen Hill (Mary Ann), Mary Jane Whiteside of Joliet, Greta Chitwood of St. Louis and Sue Ray (David) of Texas. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
