He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Lee Pennington and Ethel Pennington (Richmond); his wife Linda Sue Johnston; and his brother Henry Pennington. He is survived by: his children, Jimmie Pennington (Barbara Averitt) of Herrin, Tammy Ford of Breese, Chris Pennington of Simpson and Andy Pennington of Simpson; his grandchildren, Anthony, Austin, Lexi, Drake, Amber of Antoine, J. R. and Michelle; and his brothers, Larry Pennington of Platteville and Mike Manzano of Shady Spring. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
