He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph C. and Genevieve M. Maier (Froman); his siblings, Donna Leonard, Janet Ashby, Lyle Maier and Mervin Maier; and his son-in-law Danny Troyer.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Rewerts; his children, Billy "Oscar" Maier (Karen) of Stonefort, G. Ralph Maier (Dawn) of Ozark, James Maier (Debbie) of Simpson and Tracy Troyer; his grandchildren, Christopher Maier (Ashley), Cody Maier (Whitney), Raymond Maier (Vanessa), Andrew Maier, Jacob Maier (Shayelin), Timmy Maier, Derrek Maier, Gregory Maier, Danyelle Loury (Steven) and Gary Troyer; his sister Joyce Powell of Lake Mary, Florida; and his siblings-in-law, David Leonard of Champaign and Agnes Maier of Thomasboro. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and many friends.
