He was predeceased by: his parents, John Norris Stearns and Virginia June Stearns (Lipe); and his brother Richard Stearns. He is survived by: his wife Sally; and his sister Vonda Kay Summers of Carbondale. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
