Charlene M. Meier Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlene M. Meier (Vienna, Illinois), born in Elmwood Park, Illinois, who passed away on December 6, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Kruse and Irene Kruse (Horn); her husband Emil "Slim" Meier; her son Steven Meier; and her grandson Michael Chaput.
She is survived by: her sons, David Meier (Crystal) of Tunnel Hill and Robin Meier (Marlene) of Carbondale; and her grandchildren, Martin Meier, Starlene Meier, Shawn Chaput, Thomas Meier, Christopher Meier, Collin Meier and Chase Meier. She is also survived by several great grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Those attending the service are reminded that customarily accepted social distancing guidelines should be observed. The wearing of a face mask or covering is strongly encouraged.
