Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Bonnie McHugh (Vienna, Illinois), born in Kankakee, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 70, on January 7, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Bess and Opal Watson; her brothers, Paul A. Bess and Vernon L. "Lee" Bess, II; and her stepparents, Chester "Chet" Watson and Elaine Bess.
She is survived by: her husband Richard "Dick" McHugh; her children, John R. McHugh of Vienna and Tara Chapman (Brad) of Vienna; her grandchildren, Michaela Ann McHugh, John Michael McHugh, Wyatt Crawford Krawczyk and Enola Sancha Rae Chapman; and her siblings, Ina Mae Lindgren of Clifton, Judy Hanson (Larry) of Kankakee, Helen Bess of Bourbonnais, Robert "Bob" Bess (Denise) of Kankakee, Kathy Maisonneuve of Clifton, Kathleen Lyons of Peotone, Verna Lee Lehning (Tom) of Valparaiso and Charles "Chuck" Bess (Tara) of Momence. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Those attending are reminded to observe customarily accepted social distancing guidelines. The wearing of a face mask or covering is strongly encouraged.
