It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Harris (Vienna, Illinois), born in Anniston, Missouri, who passed away on January 22, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl W. Harris and Geraldine Harris (Martinie); and his brother Robert P. "Bob" Harris. He is survived by: his wife Deloris J. Tatum; his children, Mechelle Greer (Jackie) of Dongola and Billy H. Harris, II (Carol) of McClure; his grandchildren, Benjamin Greer (Audrey) of Dongola, Zack Greer (Melissa) of Belknap, Levi Harris (Katie) of Dongola, Clay Harris (Katie) of Dongola, Beth Sandvos of McClure and Jacob Sandvos of Scott City, Missouri; his great grandchildren, Dillon, Lily, Cheyanne, Kaden, Dalton and Kamdin Greer; his sister Carla Huffman of Jonesboro; and his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Harris of Vienna and Howard Thomure of Belleville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Those attending the visitation and service are reminded to observe customarily accepted social distancing guidelines. The wearing of a face mask or covering is strongly encouraged.
