He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Calvin George and Ruth George (Wood); his wife Barbara K. (Poe); his brother-in-law Glynn Johnson; and his aunts and uncles, Orba Wood, Wilburn Wood, Preston George, Barbara George and Lollie West.
He is survived by: his children, Amanda Lauderdale (Paul Gearing) of Vienna, Angie Breeden (Kevin) of Vienna and Mike Starrick (Elizabeth) of Ozark; his grandchildren, Jakob Breeden, Grace Breeden, James Lauderdale, Gabriel Starrick, Hannah Lauderdale and Mary Kate Starrick; his great grandchild Jypsy Lynn Horn; his siblings, Vicky Johnson of Louisville, Kentucky and Neil George (Tamara) of Indianapolis, Indiana; his nieces, Kim and LeAnne; his nephew Curtis; and his uncle Joe George of Villa Ridge. He is also survived by cousins, other relatives and many friends.
