He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Leerhoff and Lucinda Behrens Leerhoff; his wife Marilyn Jeanette "Jeannie" Bullard; his daughter Debra Leerhoff Crenshaw; his granddaughter Brandi Fry; and his siblings, Mary Buckley, Geraldine Holtman, Donald and Roger Leerhoff.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Leerhoff of Mt. Sterling, Cheryl Leerhoff of Clayton and Wanda Fry of Jacksonville; his brother Fred Leerhoff of Quincy; his grandchildren, Brock Fry, Mandy Fink, Michele Jones, Brittany Eddy, Brady Leerhoff and Breanna Payne; and his close friend Donna Davis of Perry. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the Hersman Cemetery.
