He was predeceased by: his parents, Cledus and Esther; his son Lucas Arthur James Barfield; and his brother Tommy. He is survived by: his children, Amanda Woelfel (Bob) of Greenfield, Johnny, Jr. Barfield (Jennifer) of Mt. Sterling, Ethan Barfield and Nathan Barfield of Clayton; and the mother of his children Pamela Gregory of Meredosia. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; three brothers and one sister; and several nieces and nephews.
