It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Saxer (Versailles, Illinois), who passed away on December 21, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy F. Saxer and Martha Louella Stuller Saxer; his sisters, Viola Elizabeth Saxer and Vera Louella Kasch; and his niece Martha Louella Kasch.
He is survived by: his spouses, Viola Ann Vandeventer and Karen Saxer of Versailles; his children, Rachel Ann Saxer of Mt. Sterling, Virginia Louise "Ginnie" Anderson (Jerry) of Knoxville and Joseph Henry Saxer (Patti) of Jacksonville; his grandchildren, Darci Samuel (Ron), Wesley Anderson, Cassi Ruyle, Cydny Saxer, Carmyn Saxer and Raymond Anderson (Wendy); his great grandchildren, Dominik, Vincent Samuel, Savana, Kylei and Erik Anderson; his nephews, Leroy Kasch (Susan) and Ed Wagner; and his pet Rex.
