It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John R. Wilson of Versailles, Illinois, who passed away on November 24, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Van and Mildred Eugenia Saxer Wilson; his grandson Drew Wilson; his sisters, Barbara Miller and Louise Penington; and his nephew Rick Penington.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Crowell; his sons, Robert Van Wilson (Ann) of Mt. Sterling, Douglas Alan Wilson (Suzie) of Versailles and Jon Eric Wilson (Tammy) of Versailles; his grandchildren, Sarah Roenna (Michael) of Plainfield, Kathy Anderson (Rob) of Lake St, Kristen Wagner (Gary) of Mt. Sterling, Jacob Wilson (Anna) of Mt. Sterling and Quintin Bradbury of Kansas City; and his great grandchildren, Cole, Hayden Roenna, Henry, Lukas Anderson, Brooks, Briley Wagner and Theo Wilson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
